The focal point of the newly created downtown Milwaukee Sports and Entertainment District, the technology-laden 17,500 seat arena is the home to the Milwaukee Bucks NBA basketball team and the Marquette Warriors college basketball team. The multipurpose arena will also host major musical concerts and shows.

IBC was the local MEP design engineer partnered with the prime MEP consultant, ME Engineers. IBC was part of the overall project design team which included over 20 consultants working on various aspects of the new complex. Extensive BIM coordination was utilized throughout the project design and construction. The design of an expansive use of hot water radiation to cover the over 30,000 square feet of glazing on the building’s east main entrance façade is an example of IBC’s collaboration with both structural and architectural features.

IBC provided complete design and engineering of the building’s steam to hot water heating system, chilled water and natural gas distribution piping and fire alarm system. IBC also provided full MEP design for the indoor truck parking and player parking areas as well as the Panorama Club, a nightclub atmosphere space which includes an outdoor balcony overlooking scenic downtown Milwaukee. IBC was involved in all phases of the project from design development to construction supports services and project close out.
