This Georgian Revival style building, first opened in 1932, has been modernized to provide state-of-the-art library services while retaining the building’s historic character. The project was focused on three “preservation zones”: restoration, rehabilitation, and renovation. This three-pronged approach was particularly necessary as the building has been in operation since 1932 and had received few updates since the 1950s.
