Commissioning

Today’s high performance buildings include increasingly complex mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and the success of the building depends on their proper operation. The quality assurance process known as commissioning is designed specifically to assure that sophisticated building systems operate as intended to meet the needs of the building owners and occupants.

Energy Modeling

Energy modes assist in assessing the energy use of a building and quantify the savings attributable to the proposed design. Our models begin with the design phase and are continuously adjusted and refined throughout. Beyond the LEED® certification requirement, an energy model can help to establish peak heating and cooling loads, aids in the evaluation of energy-saving concepts, and is used to document compliance with energy codes.
