- Indoor air quality was a primary concern for the Owner. A water sculpture was introduced to the building, and air handling equipment was specified with modulating hot gas reheat to be able to provide dehumidification any time it is necessary. In addition, premium filters were specified to minimize air pollution.
- Extensive reuse of the existing building and its fixtures.
- High efficiency rooftop air handling units were specified in lieu of standard efficiency units.
|
- During construction, an attempt was made to substitute the high efficiency rooftop units with the premium filters and dehumidification capabilities with standard equipment. While this would have saved some initial cost, several of the Owner’s primary objectives would not be met. Our process of assistance and oversight prevented ensured that the equipment installed was able to meet the Owner’s needs.
