MEP Upgrades

A 300,000 square foot building with a student population of about 2,100, J.I Case High School had not been significantly upgraded since it was built in 1966. With most of the equipment nearing the end of its life-cycle, IBC Engineering designed a number of upgrades designed with energy savings in mind such as replaced existing cooling plant comprising of chiller and cooling tower, replaced boilers, replaced electrical service, replaced domestic water system as well as a ground-source pool water heating system, with supplemental solar thermal panels for the pool heating and recharging the geothermal field.

Currently we are working of the renovation of the Fieldhouse and associated locker rooms, dressing rooms and other support spaces. Tentative construction schedule is six months to allow for minimal disruption of the school activities.

Fitness center and concession stands are under review for inclusion to the contract.
